Product: ENVY 4500
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have aN ENVY 4500  all in one. The software will load the drivers and install the printer but not the solutions /essentials software. Printer works fine and iI can scan from the printer to the computer. Tried download from HP site and from disk with both giving same results. Tried wireless and USB install with same results.

Hi,

Which software do you try to access?

 

You should access the HP Printer Assistant, that can be accessed from Start > All Apps > HP > HP Envy 4500, then click teh HP Envy 4500 icon and the printer assistant should launch.

 

From there select Scan a document or photo to scan:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04995079

 

If you cannot locate this option or got any error message, please clarify the exact error or behavior.

 

If you may try accessing HP Solution Center (mostly guessing from your title), this is an HP software for older HP printers, not for your printer..

 

Please let me know how it goes.
