Fax from PC to laserjet 3055 all-in-one

LaserJet 3055
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Am able to scan via USB using MS fax program and MS paint as per useful info found on HP support site.

Am however looking to be able to send a fax from the PC and don't see any driver appearing or other means to do so. The MS fax program only gives option for connecting to a fax server or a fax modem.

Windows 7 64 bit via network or USB would be ok.

Thanks

Fax from PC to laserjet 3055 all-in-one

Hello,

It sounds like you need to get set up to fax properly as a first step. I would consult the following document on the how to get that going with the appropriate HP drivers for your printer. Then I would make sure you can Fax from the printer itself.  once that is successful you can try it on your PC, there is also a section on how to perform a fax from PC on the included document.

HP Printers - How to Fax

Thanks,
Clayton

Fax from PC to laserjet 3055 all-in-one

Hi Clayton, Thanks for you reply.

I am able to send and receive faxes fine via the device. I can print and scan from desktop too. I just can't fax from desktop. I don't see a printer icon for faxing to the 3055 only a printing one. I am connected via network which I think for this model does not support faxing only via USB?
