Finding Printer Drivers

i'm trying to add my printer to my Laptop devices, but i can't find the driver that runs it, to finish the connection. i have a HB ENVY 7640 (series), but that is not coming up in the drivers, when bought (over a year or two ago now), there was no documentation or installation cd's with it, how do i find out what driver it runs with so i can connect the printer to my laptop.

the printer is also connected to a tablet via wifi, and to a desk top computer via cable. the tablet has been playing up lately, and doesnt want to do very much any more, and the desktop didnt like my usb, that has the items to be printed on it. so i thought i would try my laptop... any help would be appreciated

Hi Lozi_J,

Follow these steps to get the driver for your HP ENVY 7640 e-All-in-One.

1. Go to the HP product support page for your product (using the laptop), located here.
2. Click on the blue "Software and Drivers" button.
3. Click on the blue "Go" button.
4. The web page should automatically detect your operating system, but if not, click on  "Change" in the blue rectangle and select it from the list.
5. Under the "Driver-Product Installation Software (2) heading, you should see:  HP ENVY 7640 e-All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Drivers.  Click on the red "Download" button and follow the instructions from there.
