Hello, Well, I did try this last attempt that you suggested and, it is still printing a BLANK page??  Not sure if you are misunderstanding my problem.....it's not that I am getting an extra BLANK page - NO!  What should be coming out of the printer is a "printed page" of what I need to have a copy of! It prints with no problems when it's a COLORED document but, if it's a BLACK document, I get a BLANK page??

I think I mentioned somewhere on this site that I recently agreed to set this printer up so that it is "wireless" but, when I was advised on this site to UNinstall then, REinstall the printer, I didn't choose the "wireless" option. PLEASE HELP me......thank you again for all this support!!  Sincerely, Janet F.

Thank you for the update.

In that case, I would suggest you print the printer internal page and check printer hardware functionality.

To print a diagnostics page a. Load letter or A4 unused plain white paper into the input tray. b. Open the printer software. For more information, see Open the HP printer software. c. In the printer software, click Print & Scan and then click Maintain Your Printer to access the printer toolbox. d. Click Print Diagnostic Information on the Device Reports tab to print a diagnostics page.

Please install the new black ink cartridge and check for the issue.

Please refer to the following link to troubleshooting the black printing issue.

I have tried all the "trouble-shooting" recommendations and I am still printing out BLANKS for the Black and White documents.....my question to you is -- could the BLACK Ink Cartridge become "defective" @ half way through its use...I had no trouble with the printing when I first replaced the cartridges?? I checked the "ink levels" and both the Black and Color cartridges are over HALF FULL??  Please advise and I will have to change the cartridge if nothing else is possible to fix this?? Thank you again!!  Janet F.
