Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums. Can you try the following:

Please Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor (PSDR) tool to diagnose and fix your problem

http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Nav?h_pagetype=s-926&h_lang=en&h_client=s-h-e016-1&h_keyword=dg-PDU

Hope that helps.

We have already tried the HP Print and Scan Doctor (PSDR) and it never works it always says to Install but the installer keeps failing so does the Uninstall and Reinstaller

We have tried everything

  1. Add and Remove Program
  2. Scan Doctor
  3. Reset up the printer

We are thinking about doing a Restore Point and if all else fails a FACTORY RESET to completely wipe the compter and start again.

Hi,

Can you do a Restore Network Settings to default?

Watch this example on how it's done:

Restore Printer Network Settings

After that, can you try this Uninstaller from Microsoft and then reinstall the FULL feature software again?

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed...

Let us know if that works!

PS: Wiping the PC seems a bit drastic unless absolutely necessary.
