Product: HP officejet 4500
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista

I have been having problems with my HP officejeet 4500 printer, on MS vista.  Unable to solve, I uninstalled the driver, and have been trying to download another driver.  It starts download, but runs for hours.  There is no indication that downloading has started, progress, time remaining.  Bottom line, no download to use.  Is the driver softwear still available?  Compu ter and printer lightly used.

Hi,

What is your exact printer model? is it the HP Officejet 4500 (G510m) or the HP Deskjet 4500 (K710) model?

 

You should find the model number listed on the label at the back of your printer.
