HP Officejet Pro 8620
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have accidently reflashed the flash memory of my HP Officejet Pro 8620 using the hidden service menu (pressing ON button for 5 seconds, afterwards Home, Back , 2x Home and selected reflash).

According to the hidden Engineering Menu (pressing 4x Back, Info Menu, Model Number) now the printer thinks it is a HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909g.

When I try to perfrom a firmware update the printer is not detected (probably since it thinks it is a Pro 8500).

What can I do to solve this problem?

The printer is connected via USB cable and via WiFi to a Window 10 64bit computer. Printing on the HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909g e. g. using Microsoft Word works.

Thanks and regards,
