Photo smart P1000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an old HP Photo smart printer P100 that works prefectly on a laptop running Win 10 Pro 64 bit (was upgraded from Win 7) using Deskjet 970CSE printer driver. I would like to set up another laptop to use the same printer. The PC recognizes the device but it does not show up when selecting a printer.

Are the drivers for for the 970Cse still available?

Can I copy the drivers some how to the other PC?

Do any of the MS Win10 generic drivers work for this printer?

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and install the Windows built-in drivers.
