HP Photosmart c6280 driver for Windows 8

HP Photosmart c6280 All-in-One printer HP995C4F

Windows 8 Pro x64


Using the built in Windows 8 driver i got a windows exception and the followig event in the application log:

Trying to install the driver from HP driver download, PS_AIO_02_NetWired_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe

the installation do not find a printer. The only availble option is "Avsluta" no Install.


Need a new printer driver for Windows 8 x64

Unfortunately there are no official drivers released for...

Unfortunately there are no official drivers released for this printer for Windows 8 yet. If they are released, it probably wont be until after Windows 8 is released.

I have tried to uninstall and re-install the driver for my C6280 but the scanner stops in the middle of scanning - leaving just half a page scanned and no possibility to finish. Is there a problem with Windows 8 and the C6280?
