I currently have version 4.9. When I try to use it, it tells me there is a new version, I do a download but it does not work. There is not a program in downloads. I found a hPPSDR and PSDR under Diagnostics and deleted them. Restarted my computer and then downloaded then again and when I try to use scan doctor it still get the information that there  is a new version. What do I need to do.

Thanks

It's broken.  HP is aware of the issue and is working on it.

Workaround:

Click the X in the upper right corner in the little update window that wants you to click on "download" .

Program should then continue to execute as expected.

Rats.  I am able to X out of the "download" window and HPPSdr (HP Print and Scan Doctor) continues as expected to execute the program.  Different computer, etc.

The HPPSdr program is broken"  Right now, spite of the fact that the little update windows claims there is a new version, there is apparently no way to get to that new version.

if the "X out" workaround does not work on your system,  we shall have to wait for a fix from HP.

Check your printer's Troubleshooting section for documents to help you fix the problem manually.
