HP solution Center no longer loads. I get the attached error messages. This means that I can no longer scan.
I downloaded the software from the HP site, it downloads fine but won't install. It just gives up and disappears. It says its checking the system, but then goes no further.
Please help. I need to scan again asap in order to apply for a job!

May the Forums be with you! It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel!
Going through your post, I see that you are having issues while scanning using the HP Photosmart printer. HP Solution Center is an old software and may not be compatible with the Windows 10 environment.
I’d suggest using the HP Smart. Go to https://www.hpsmart.com/us/en to download and install the app on your PC.

I have ried to uninstall as much software as possible but it still will not let me re-install new software.
The new software has downloaded but won't install. It starts up for a few seconds then disappears.
Please help me

Thanks for your reply.
I followed the instructions to use the built-in driver for Windows 10 so my printer works again now without the additional software, and i have also used the Windows Fax and Scan app successfully.
