HI! So after a ton of research, I bought an HP envy 5055 to use with my Samsung Chrombook. When I first installed it, everything worked perfectly--printing, scanning etc... but about a month ago, it just stopped printing. It will still print though wifi direct, however it isn't even being recognized through the HP Smart print app as a wifi available printer, just as a wifi direct printer. When I try to connect it through the hp.123 site, it says that my operating system is not compatible--this is how I connected it when I originally bought it. I have tried printing through the chrome app, cloud print, and a couple of other priting apps, but nothing is working! It is a pain to have to switch back and forth between wifi direct and my home wifi as I search and print material I need, not to mention that I cannot scan anything anymore and have resorted to using the adobe scanner on my cell phone to upload documents... Ugh! Please help!!

Follow 'Connect a printer with a touchscreen control panel' below and ensure the printer is connected to the same wireless network and check for any change, from your description I would guess the printer has disconnected from the network:
Once connected, ensure the HP Print for Chrome app is installed with your printer selected:
Once verifying printing try scanning using WebScan:
Please let me know how it goes,

Thanks for your response! My printer is in fact still connected to the wifi, I can print from my cell phone and other computer, just not from my chromebook... I'm wondering if maybe the problem is with my computer?
