At some time I could not print on my HP Photosmart 6520 anymore.
I decide to remove the printer, and all HP software on my computer. (The printer is the only HP divice I have).
I downloaded the laters driver from HP-site PS6520_1315-1.
During installation I select connect by WIFI and I enter the IP-address of my printer.
But the installation program cannot find my printer.
Remarks:
I can print and scan on this printer from another computer in the same home network.
I can ping the printer from a CMD-window. So the connection is ok.
Who has an idea how tyo solve this problem?

Restore the network settings on the printer
Go to Setup > Network > Restore network settings
Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network.
Now, try installing/printing using the HP Smart app.
Let me know how this goes.

@HermW, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
- Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
- This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. So, the PC should be on the 2.4GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
- Restart the wireless router, the printer, and this computer.
If you are able to ping the printer from this computer, and you get a 0% loss, it means the connectivity is fine.
Use the HP Smart app to print and scan from your Win PC

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hello Kumar0307
Thank you for your answer.
But I have the same problem when the laptop is connected via UTP cable to the network.
Ping from the computer to the printer gives 0% loss.
But the HP installation program PS6520_1315-1 gives cannot find the printer (on the same IP-address as the ping command.)
Have you any idea how to solve this problem?

Hello Kumar0307,
The network was not the problem. I can print from another computer in the same network also.
When I install the printer by the HP SMART app then the printer is installed correctly and I can print.!!!!!!!!!
So the problem is in the PS6520_1315-1 installation program recommended on the HP website.
Thanks for the assistence.
Kind regards, Herm
