hp photosmart essentials 3.5
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have over 7000 pictures/videos on my HP Photosmart Essentials 3.5 library and I don't know how to save the data directly from the Essentials library.  The computer the software is on ( the HP Photosmart Essentials 3.5)  is on  a Toshiba with Windows 7 OS 64 bit.  Of course, I have other sources of the pictures and videos, i.e. memory cards but not all in one place such as the software HP Photosmart Essentials 3.5.  So is there a way to transfer all the info to a thumb drive probably over 100GB,  or do i have to use an external hard drive, of course with plenty of  storage capacity.
