Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • Was there a firmware update done on the printer recently?
  • If yes, Unfortunately, there is no option to downgrade the firmware once the latest version is installed.
  • This firmware update does not affect the printer usage if you are using a HP ink cartridge as the printer reads the chips on the HP ink cartridges.
  • For more information about cartridge yields and ink use, click here
