Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Smart install on built-in cd don't run cause on restrictions of UAC windows 10.

 

So i can't disable smart install in my printer on my windows 10 x64. That virtual cd don't let me reinstall drivers for wifi connection with printer.

 

How can i disable virtual cd? Plz hlp.

Hi,

Connect the printer and turn it on, then follow below utility to disable HP Smart Install:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL53550/lj-129224-1/LJP1100_P1560_P1600_SI_Utility.exe

 

Once done power off the printer, remove any existing device from Devices and Printers and install the software below:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL32431/bi-80329-11/hp_LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution-v...

 

Only once the installer prompts to connect the printer power on the printer to complete the installation.
