Ok so i tried all that thanks, but nothing worked, i downloaded the drivers about 5 times, in the end i abandoned the attempt to take a break, i turned of my computer, printer and router and went for a brew.... when i returned i turned the printer on first, and it told me i had been unsubscribed from hp ink service, my heart dropped. i then turned on the router and computer.
And i thought i would check in settings to see if the printer could be installed manualy, as sometims the drivers were are pre installed, and to my supprise, there was my printer online! all i had to do was log onto hp and let it talk to my computer to sync it up with the hp ink service,, and the job was completed...
I did run HP Support assistant to be sure, and it fixed one error and all is good. so thank you
