I moved to Europe some years ago and up until now have always used HP cartridges that I bought in the U.S. Now that I've run out and I'm buying HP cartridges in Europe, I can no longer use my printer until I request a Region Reset. Unfortunately, there seems to be no easy way to do this. Help?

Update: after hours online (= wasted productivity & costs) with 2 different support technicians HP was unable to help due to "negative serial numbers" popping up on official HP cartridges. They cannot change regions on your printer, effectively rendering your printer and all cartridges bought in the particular region useless. HP's region system (Z10, Z20, etc.) for cartridge use is outdated and seriously flawed in this international climate of migrating professionals. I will no longer be using HP printers and highly recommend that traveling/expat professionals do not use HP for their printing activities. I have wasted hundreds of USD & EUR now on a printing solution that is not really a realistic solution. Canon, Epson, Xerox - any of these will do as a new alternative.
