I came home the other day and there was someone else's insurance binder sitting in my printer tray. I imagine someone else bought the same model printer that I did and connected wirelessly to mine by accident. I would like to lock access to this printer to computers on this network, but can't seem to find an option for that anywhere. Is this possible?

Thank you for the update.
If your neighbors are using the same printer, The wifi will detect that one also. I would suggest you change the printer's name itself. There will not be a conflict .
I hope you understand.
Have a nice day!!

@EB31277 Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you would like to lock the HP Envy 5542 to the home network.
I understand your concerns.
I would suggest you change the router password. setup the printer using the new password.
Please make sure that the new password has not given to others.
I hope you understand.

My apologies, I've been working extra hours and haven't had time to sit down at my computer, and I don't like typing on my phone screen.
The first thing I did when I found the issue is change the password on my wi-fi router, however I think the wireless printer may be detectable on other networks. I was having an issue with it and I removed it from devices and printers, and re-added it. While adding it, Windows was detecting printers and I believe one of my neighbors may have the same model printer, because multiple instances of the printer model were listed, and the first one I tried to add asked me for a password or pin that I didn't have and don't know how to set up to be required on this device. When I backed out of it and picked the other one it added my printer for me. At that point I started thinking it's possible one of my neighbors has the same printer as me and realized they had added my printer by accident when they tried to print one of their documents and it never printed for them, then they changed it to their own printer and found a way to lock it to their device or network.
