macOS 10.13 High Sierra

My printer is saying I have an incompatible cartridge in it. I have changed the cartridge 3 times (each time using the correct HP brand cartridge) and followed all the steps for troubleshooting. I called HP support, followed all the steps and nothing so they sent me another cartridge and it still is not working. 

 

I am an MD/PhD student and I NEED to print stuff for school. My printer has been completely useless for two weeks now and I've wasted over $60 on cartridges. I need this printer to work ASAP, I am sick and tired of messing with it and wasting money.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
