Intervention Reqired

Office Jet 5740
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

All my printing request end with the message - Printer requires intervention.  I've emptied my print spool, unistalled and reinstalled the software, ran the HP doctor multiple times.  Each time my test page prints, looks fine, but when I print a document, it doesn't work.  It's driving me crazy.  Thanks for any help.

Hi,

Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\HP and delete the Diagnostics folder.

 

Next, download and follow below version of HP Print and Scan Doctor, follow any suggested steps and check if that may make any difference:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

Thank you for the reply.  Works now.  Has worked on several print jobs.
