HP M102w printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the above device and cannot access the printer web page to reconfigure the device.

Any recommendations on a method to factory reset or recover the password so I might reconfigure the device for a new enviornment?

I already followed this step: please restore factory defaults on the printer by following the steps from the user guide: http://hp.care/2CxQfkA (refer to page#73) on how to do it. But I do not have the admin password required.

As the issue continues, I ask you to send me the steps on how to perform an NVRAM reset to factory settings through a private message.

Thanks in advance.

@luis_felipe23, Welcome to HP Support Community!

The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

Follow the steps to complete the reset-

NVRAM Initialization

  • With the device off, depress and hold the [Go] button.
  • Power on the device and hold [GO] button for 20 seconds. When the ready led turns on, release the [GO] button.
