My laptop is not locating my printer URL.  I have turned off the firewall, uninstalled/re-installed all the HP links, used scan doctor (which didn't help), and restarted the computer.  And it still doesn't recognize... I don't know what to do.  Has anyone ever had this issue?  Thanks

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the  "cannot connect to computer" issue. 

 

To better assist you - 

1)What is the status of the wireless light on the printer, steady or blinking?

2)Are you connected to a home network or a public network?

 

Meanwhile, Let's print network configuration report

 

From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, touch ( Setup ), touch Reports , and then touch Network Configuration Page.

 

Post the network configuration report here so we can help you further. 

 

Try the steps in the document -Troubleshoot a Wi-Fi Printer Connection
