I am having trouble trying to scan from my HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911a to my iMac computer. The software is missing and HP tells me they don't have any thing that would help. Does anyone know where or what software would work ???

@JMD45, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Download the HP Utility for Mac from here.

Try following the steps below-

Open the HP Utility Folder and go to Scan to Computer

Try Scanning.

Let me know the outcome.

Cheers 🙂

Just to let anyone know I tried this and it said it could not enable the scan because it couldn' find any drivers.  I solved my problem by going back to using an Ethternet cable from my printer to my computer. Now I can scan and print. WiFi is a farce as far as I am concerned. The only reason I bought a WiFi rounter was so I could use use my ROKU with my TV. It has worked with my computer so far.....
