Officejet Pro 8600. I've been doing scans to email for years but today it wouldn't process. I received the message my login or password is invalid. How do I find and correct this issue?  Thanks for your help

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

To help you further with this, let us know the Operating System installed on the device your Printer is connected to and where do you see this error message?

Thanks 🙂

Hello, thank you for your help.  I have no computer but use my Samsung phone and tablet to communicate to my printer.  All I can find on their operating system is they're both current and version 9.

Recommend you to setup scan to email again or uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart App on your phone and Tablet.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
