HP Color LaserJet MFP M577
Linux

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew what the appropriate PPD and settings to enable monochrome (not grayscale) on a HP Color LaserJet MFP M577 would be?

I had a look at hplib - but couldn't identify the appropriate PPD.

Many thanks,

Michael

Found your printer in the Supported Printers list

Hint:  search for m577

Information in the  Docs "how to" category.

In so much that I recall (it's been a long while since I have done this), if necessary, you can edit the PPD file.

For example, assuming you use the right desciptors, I would guess you could edit the file for monochrome.  ??

I would guess that "editing" help is something you can either find in the documentation or perhaps on the 'net.
