Print is is being held for 1 printer . HP Officejet L7780 . Print seems to gather and sends to print q and just sits . When you display the print q , printer is show offline when it clearly is on.  I have downloaded drivers , software , deleted , reinstalled the printer ad all the software . When displayed in Printer and Driver section is shows online and green checkmark . We also have an HP Photosmart printer that is working fine .  I checked the IP address by manual checking and they all display what is on the printer .. Any ideas ?

Assuming the "rest is done and good" (software removed / installed / stop and reboot the printer and the computer),

Try / Consider:

Restart print services and clear the print folder

  • Control Panel > icon view > Administrative Tools > Services > Stop Print Spooler Service
  • Remove files from C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS
  • Start Print Spooler Service
