Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Office Jet 250 Mobile All-in-One Printer.  I did not insert a new ink cartridge right so when I then tried to copy a document, it would not copy.  I opened printer and fixed the cartridge.  Then tried again to copy my document.  Nothing happened when I pressed copy.  I pressed power button to turn off and reset.  Window says "Shutting Down".  However it doesn't shut down.  I unplugged printer.  Nothing changed.  Window still says "Shutting Down" and it's been an hour.  How can this be when it has no power?  It's just stuck.  If I plug back in, nothing changes.

I'm answering my own question.  After about 4 hours I noticed the printer had finally turned off.  I plugged back in, and it works normally.  Weird.
