Officejet Pro 6830
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I had to update my Windows 10, and after that, I reinstalled my Officejet Pro 6830 printer. I am having printing issues from time to time, and I used the HP Printer and Scan Doctor Tool. When I run the program and it scans for products and shows that I have TWO PRINTERS, instead of one. One with the name: Scan Only HP Officejet Pro 6830 (Network)-DO NOT DELETE (in capital letters), with an image that exactly like my ONLY printer and another one with the name: Officejet Pro 6830 (Network). No mention of -DO NOT DELETE!

The image of the "second printer" does NOT look like my HP Office Pro 6830. Both are installed in the same IP address.

I have never seen this  Scan Only HP Officejet Pro 6830 (Network)-DO NOT DELETE before, and I wonder WHY  this is installed in my system. Also, why do I have TWO products installed with two different images? Can't find anything about this anywhere... Thanks for any help with this.

Hi,

This is expected as a results of following the HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.0.6 version which creates a manual print queue using Standard TCP/IP instead of WSD, therefore results a queue for the scanner (do not delete) and the other one for printing.

Simply right-click the copy without Do Not Delete and select Set as Default, it should be shown with a green default printer mark, and be sure to use it for printing.
