@Pegster44, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

I assume that you are setting up the printer wireless. You can print using the Apple AirPrint feature or you can also install the printer software and configure the printer on the computer.

Find below the documents that will help you with the setup-

 

Wireless Printer Setup

Printing with Apple AirPrint (Mac)

 

Now, you should be able to print from the computer to the printer. If you still have issues, we can further troubleshoot the issue.
