Officejet 6600
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently posted on here because my printer was delayed between print jobs.  I got a response, followed the instructions, and it worked.  Now, a few days later, my printer won't connect to the wireless network, and therefore can't print.

My printer network test results say that MAC filtering might be enabled.  I have checked that it's not on my Verizon Fios Gateway router setting. (It was already disabled).

I have done also done all the following:

I followed the instructions from the wireless setup wizard with the WPS button, and I have tried entering the WPN password.

I have removed and re-installed the driver.

I have reset my printer by unplugging it from the wall outlet for 60 seconds and then reconnecting it.

I have spent way too much time on this, and I am getting nowhere.  I have seen similar posts in the forum, but they got me nowhere.

Please help!

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Officejet 6600 printer. I understand that your printer does not maintain wireless connection and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.

Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,

  • Restart the computer, printer, and router.
  • Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
  • Evaluate a Wireless Network Test Results page.
  • Evaluate the printer IP address.
  • Update the printer firmware.
  • Assign a manual IP address to your printer.

Click here and refer the document to perform the above troubleshooting steps.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers.
