When I try to print a pdf file I get the error message:  We couldn't reach the printer.  Make sure the printer is on and connected to the network. I can print test pages, scan, and Microsoft documents.  I unistalled and reinstalled the printer to no avail as well as downloaded the drivers.  My laptop is an HP

Completely uninstall Acrobat Reader.  Now go to the Adobe web site and download and install Acrobat Reader DC.  Now try.

Thank you that worked.  I didn't have Acrobat as my pdf reader.  I installed Acrobat and I am now printing.

This did not work for me.  I completely  uninstalled Acrobat reader, reinstalled.  Didn't work.  I uninstalled my printer, reboot computer.  Nothing worked.

2. Operating System installed (if applicable)
• Example: Windows XP, Windows Vista 32-bit, Windows 7 64-bit
3. Error message (if any)
• Example: ""Low disk space"" error in Windows
4. Any changes made to your system before the issue occurred
• Examples: Upgrading your Operating System or installing a new software; or installing new hardware like a printer, modem, or router.
