As of September 1, 2016, Web Services stop working and are no longer supported on select printers. One of the following error messages displays on your printer control panel when attempting to use web services.  I think the series of your printer is on the following list

I have an envy 5000 series.

I cannot connect to Web Service server.

I get the message trying to connect but it doesn't.

I've tried using the HP Easy start, but everytime I add a code it says the code is incorrect or the printer is off line, which it isn't as the blue light showing connectivity is on!

I've had this problem before and I got through to an email service, very helpful, and sent me a cartridge.

Problem has come up again, still unresolved!

Please tell me why HP set up services that clearly are not working!
