Same issue here. Thank you JBL11 for the detailed breakdown! Glad I found this post. I can confirm all of the same points you’ve mentioned.

 

I work with a school district consisting of over 4,000 HP Chromebooks. We use the HP Print to Chrome app for our small group situations that don’t or can’t reach our larger network printers. Those staff print reports consisting of charts that require landscape orientation. As it is, I will be installing print servers at these locations this coming week, as a workaround. I really didn’t want to have to do that when using the app is so much more efficient.

 

I’m hoping the Dev team can correct this soon.

I have escalated your concern to HP’s Support Team in your region to have it reviewed for available options, if any.  You should be contacted within 4 business days (Excluding holidays & Weekends).
