Starting last night, my printer (which use to run at a normal speed) has slowed down to about 1/4 of the speed it formerly to run at. Nothing changed with the location or software, so what else could be the problem and what can I do to troubleshoot/fix it?

I've just had the same problem starting.
A batch of 10 pages started printing as if one at a time.
And then a 6 page PDF at 138kb took 3 minutes, again printing as if one page at a time.
I had already gopne through the Troubleshooting before coming onto the HP website and finding this post.
