Product: Deskjet 3055A
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

Hi all,

I upgrded my Computer and I need to install my printer (Deskjet 3055). Unfortunately in the HP site the intallation software to download is not available anymore, they only have the e-print software.

Any tips on how or where I can find it?

Hi Littlemoon69,

 

You can use Apple Software Update (ASU) to update your printer driver for the Deskjet 3055a in macOS 10.12.   You can use the HP Support document located here to complete those steps.

 

For anyone else who is wondering if their printer is compatible with ASU in OS X 10.10, 10.11 or macOS 10.12, you can visit this document, located your product under the appropriate section, and then follow the guidance from there.
