There is a problem with the hplip utility crashing repeatedly for the wireless access with either USB or Ethernet temporary aid.    I had used it previously on my Debian type Mx-17 now updated with new router requiring the HPLIP utility to be utilized as it had previously.   It had worked, but at least has failed with 18 + attempts using either USB or using ETHERNET attempts in the provisional modes.   No successful ability to install the device into my new business.    There was most of the program functioning.    It did recognize my TP-link router and with good reception and had often, but not invariably allowed me to place the key for WPA as well, though sometimes it seemed to skip right past this step and try to access the router and wireless without the key being entered.    No success in any case.
