Hello,

I have the same issue. For me, the problem persists when printing to PDF; images are re-sized and cut off.  The only thing that seems to solve the issue is to set my display settings in Windows settings to 100%, then restart the computer, then print. It is not an issue with MS Office, it is an issue the printer driver is having with MS Windows.  I usually have my screen display set to 150% so I can see without straining. This printer driver needs to be fixed by HP so that it works correctly with MS Windows. I just purchased this printer after my previous OfficeJet Pro stopped working. The previous driver did not contain this bug.

Welcome to HP support community.

Provide the printer model number or the product number?

How is the printer connected to the computer, USB or WiFi?

  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.

I removed the device from Devices and Printers.

I uninstalled HP programs related to the printer.

I unplugged the printer.

I restarted the computer.

However, I get an error message when trying to uninstall the driver. It says, "Driver package information collected. The following package(s) cannot be deleted: hpwe7a124_64.inf (x64). This package contains the following driver(s) that are in use: HP OfficeJet Pro 8740 PCL-6; This driver is used on: HP OfficeJet Pro 8740."

You can use third-party software like Revo Uninstaller to uninstall the printer driver.

No, that didn't work. Revo Uninstaller only uninstalls apps, but the HP printer apps have already been uninstalled.

This might require remote access of the computer to fix this issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on "Continue as guest".

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
