HP LaserJet Pro M1132

There is a printer HP LaserJet Pro M1132, which is connected to a wi-fi router via USB. Windows sees and detects it, but requires driver installation. I downloaded the driver from the HP site and specified the INF file. But the following error appears:
Windows cannot find a suitable printer driver.

I have gone through your Post and I would like to help 👍

 

I suggest you uninstall the printer driver from Root level and then install the Windows Built-In driver

 

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features 
2.) Select your HP Printer 
3.) Select Uninstall 
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers 
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’ 
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”) 
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab 
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom 
10.) Select Ok 
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows 
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the computer 

 

Then follow the instructions in this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01796879 to install the Windows Built-In driver.

Hello! Thanks for your answer!
I was able to connect the printer by changing the CIFS connection type to jetdirect in the router.
Then I added the printer using the ip address of the router, and in this case, windows accepted the driver downloaded from the HP resource.
