can't connect deskjet 3630 to xp pro version 2002 s.p.3 system

Product Name: HP DeskJet 3630 All-in-One Printer series
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

can't get info on connecting from 123.hp.com/dj3630. can't find cd/dvd drive hp

had tried the obvious as you posted. have Intel(R)Pentium(R)4cpu 3.00GHz 504Mb Ram. Now have a deskjet 2130, get the same message, "not for my system".  Any bright ideas????

Can you please let me know the exact error message.

Id the printer connected the network?

Is the wireless light is blinking or study blue?

 

HP printer only works with 2.4GHz

Make sure you're connecting your printer to the 2.4GHz in the router.

no software or drivers are available for the product with the selected operating system.

returned 3630. Can't install drivers.

2130 still in box.

Router wireless light on.

2.4GHz on router. Don't understand.

Link only goes back as far as vista. Message, video not supported in this browser, MEDIA-ERROR-SRC-NOT-SUPPORETD

NO COMPATABLE SOURCE FOUND FOR THIS MEDIA

xp and vista have not been supported for some time so updates have not been available.

I would personally suggest you contact our HP phone support for further assistance.

If your product is Out of warranty, then remember to choose the paid options to get the tech support number.

 

They might have multiple options to help you on this.

 

Please use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp

Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect

Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone number and phone number appear.

They will be happy to assist you immediately.
