This worked on the uninstall for my HP OfficeJet 6978 software. I kept getting the error message. Ran your magic (which was kind of scary watching my computer with what you had it doing) but after it allowed me to uninstall.

Thank you very much. Problem with one HP Printer MFP181, Driver uninstall error like this. Just copied your files in command it run successfully.

I'ts not allowing me to delete the folder. It says it needs permission from 'My Name' to allow access.  Doesn't make any sense,

The above code gave me a syntax error,  Note that the last parameter on the TAKEOWN commands is the default response for prompts.  My system is setup in french so needed to change those from "y" to "o"...
