As in the subject, I cannot see the printer model in my "Add New Printer" windows. When I try to find a driver download online, I've downloaded some Trojan instead of the real driver. It's kind of frustrating. Please advice.

My Windows 7 Professional 64-bit system lists a driver for HP LaserJet 1150.
If this is not in your list, try updating the list, by clicking the Windows Update button on the Add Printer dialogue, and waiting (perhaps several minutes) for the list to be repopulated.

I've tried that for several times, but i always get a message "Windows was unable to get a list of devices from Windows Update. Please try again later."
The internet connection was fine and I dont understand the problem.

Until you fix the Windows Update issue, i doubt that you'll be able to get the relevant driver installed.
I think that the Windows Update issue is not uncommon - a web search might yield some answers.
[ I had a similar issue on a Windows Vista system some time ago - Windows Update repeatedly failed until after I'd manually updated the Windows Defender application].

Thanks! That works great !!!
the driver was installed successfully, but i still cannot print because the port i selected wasn't the correct one. for USB connection, printer port should be DOT4 instead of LPT.
