I found a way to extract the driver from a pc that still had it from earlier install.  looks like that HP or Microsoft have since removed the HP LaserJet 5 printer driver from the list (for obvious reasons). I have a brand new Pavilion X360 Laptop and a brand new Windows 10 Home installation.

It took quite some time to run the Windows update on the new system (15 min or so). After that HP showed up in the left box (Manufacturer). Pick the HP LaserJet 5200 Series PCL5 as a printer and it will work fine for your LaserJet 5 and 5M. It did for me.
