i'm over 50 so explaining things with pep or ssd and shortened computer lingo means nothing to me, but here is what i think is up with the thing. it won't connect to my laptop or my router, it says its wireless but it says its connected to my nieghbours router. i cannot connect to the printer with a USB as the ports on the laptop are damaged, hence getting the wireless printer.... if i can't get it to work soon it going to be a big hammer & a lot of mess..????

Hi,

Is your laptop connected to the network wirelessly or with an ethernet cable to a router?

What operating system do you use on your laptop?

My laptop is windows 7 (don't laugh it works well for me) its connected wirelessly to the router ( which I might add is only 10ft away from the laptop & the printer. My mobile is also connected wirelessly to the router & is the only other item connected.

If I can't get the printer working I think it will be faster to carve what I need it to do on a stone tablet.

Thank
