Putting in new ink Cartridges, and the black will not print.

Are you able to copy in black?
If you insert your old cartridges, are you able to able to print anything? Or do you have any other new cartridge to try with again to make sure if the cartridges you tried right now are not faulty?
Let me know if you see any black on the print quality report:
Load plain white paper in the tray.
On the printer, touch Settings, touch Tools, and then touch Print Quality Report.
