Hi everyone,
I have a CM2320nf on my home network and downloaded what I think is the most current Mac OS X driver (v1.5.0) but when I try to install it on my macOS Sierra (10.12) system I get the error;
Obviously my OS is above 10.6 but I'm guessing that the installer might be choking on either the name change ("OS X" to "macOS") or it's not seeing all of the digits in the version number (seeing "10.12" as "10.1").
Is there a newer driver package I could use or is there some trick I could use to install the drivers on my Mac?
Thanks in advance!
Larry.

Hi Larry,
For printing, if it do not list the printer model downlaod and install the following package:
https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1888?locale=en_US
Once adding the printer be sure to select the Color LaserJet CM2320 MFP Series withing the Use drop down menu not ageneric PostSript driver.
As mentioned, only printing and faxing are supported, scanning is no longer supported on any Mac OS X later than Snow Leopard (10.6).
You may try the 3rd party VueScan application which seems to support your scanner:

Hi Larry,
Print and Fax drivers for your printer are available via Apple Software Update as listed below:
http://h20566.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c04835529
Ensure your printer is connected to your Mac or to the same network and powered on, then go to System Preferences 😆 Printers & Scanners and click the plus sign to add the printer.
Next ensure your drivers are up to date by clicking the Apple icon, select About this Mac and then press Software Update.
Click Store on the top menu bar, click Reload Page, click Update All if any updated are available.

Shlomi

Hi Shlomi,
Thanks for the fast reply! I actually did try this (and I keep my Mac and Windows system up to date). What concerned me is that it showed for the "Use:" field that it would use the, "Generic PostScript Printer" driver.
Is this what I want? Will this just allow me to print or will I also be able to use the scan feature too?
Thanks!
Larry.

Hi ShlomiL,
I also have Mac OSX 10.12. Should these instructions work for the CM2320fxi? I downloaded the new drivers, but I still can't seem to print. I can see the printer and add it, but when I try to print it seems like it is going to but the printer dialog box just says connecting and nothing ever prints. I have tried several times and nothing seems to work.
Do you have any idea how I can get this working?
Thank you for any help you can give me!
Regards,
Rammed

On High Sierra
Used the existing Printer Driver from Apple, as before
No Scan.
The Vuescan solution worked for the scan.
Note: Some weeks ago I spend hours on the phone with HP SUpport to try and make the scan work, because it was still working on my Macbook Pro (which is from 2010 and had many upgrades, the printer is from 2012). We could not get my iMAC which had a new installation in 2017 to work the same.
Now I just need to sort out the scan to email again!
Thanks Shlomi
