pagewide 377dw stopped going into sleep mode and does not update firmware
Product: Pagewide MFP 377dw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have aPagewideMFP377dwprinter connected via wireless to a Windows 10 64 bits laptop that, suddenly, stoppedgoingintosleepmode, although it has always enteredintosleepmodeafter 5 mins. I've just updated the drivers to the latest version but the problem remains.
Tried toupdatethefirmwarebut I can't: after dowloadingandrunning thefirmware, it communicates with the printer (since the printer bipsandit appears "Verifying" in the printer's screen) but, after waiting a long time, it gives a message (in the laptop) saying "Theupdatefailed on 1 printer. Please turn the printer off, then on,andretry theupdate". The printer is frozenandcannot be switched off through the power button; only unpluging will turn it off. When retrying thefirmwareupdate, it happens the same again.
I've also tried toupdatethefirmwarethrough the printer's EWS but in theUpdateFirmwaresection it says that updates have been disabled.
When I go to the Web Services section of the EWS, it says that Web Services have been disabled as well. I don't know why these things are disabledandcouldn't enable them following the guides in the HP Costumer Support website...
