MFP M477 dfw
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Ever since the last High Sierra upgrading (10.13.6), I have not been able to scan over my local Wi-Fi network from my MacBook Pro to my MFP M477 dfw. I can print and I can connect to the EWS.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times HP Easy Start, HP utility and HP Easy Scan. I have tried reinstalling Apple's HP driver 5.1. I have tried connecting via Bonjour and via IP.

I have tried using Airprint, Secure Airprint and the M477 driver from the Printer driver list in settings. i have reset the printing system multiple times.

Whichever utility I use (HP Easyscan, Image Capture App, Printers & Scanners scanner) no connection to the scanner is possible. The wheel just keeps turning respectively a message appears "waiting for scanner".

I can scan from my iPhone using HP Smart.

I would be grateful for any new ideas? Please don't suggest I uninstall and reinstall HP software. As I've already written, I've tried that. Thank you.
