Product: Example: OfficeJet 5740
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Today I downloaded new firmware for my office jet 5740 printer. I use Windows 10, 64 bit. After downloading the program and loading a new ink cartridge the instruction panel on the printer itself all of a sudden began reading out in Spanish and not English. I need to be able to turn it back to English and I'm looking for some help advice? Be much appreciated!

Hi,

You have likely incorrectly selected another language during the installation wizard.

 

Please open HP Smart and double click your printer, click the plus sign if the printer is not listed.

Double-click your printer icon and select Advanced Settings, then click on Setting > Preferences > International and change the printer language.
