Trying to re-connect to wireless network. The wireless button on the screen and network in setup both yield the message : "Built-in network capabilities have been disabled. Contact your network administrator or the person who set up the printer " Neither is available. How do I get rid of these messages to gain access to the wireless buttons?

@wlongship, Welcome to HP Support Community!
The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
